Hiball Energy Drink Review

So, my experience has been that most energy drinks taste terrible. I love Full Throttle by The Coca-Cola Company. It could just be that I don't like energy drinks and I should stop trying new ones.

Nah! I want to keep trying to find more good ones. So, I will start reviewing the ones that I try so the three people that read this can save their money. These drinks are not cheap so after I review like 30 of them you can buy me a video game as a thanks.

So...the first drink I have is called Hiball Energy. I was initially drawn to it by the cute bottle shape and the star on top of the cap. It is so small and I liked the star on the bottle a lot too (kinda reminds me of something hmmm). Even the cashier ringing my order commented, "cute" as she scanned it. Anyway, it was in the organic section and it only has 10 calories per bottle which is nice. I chose the flavors Lemon Lime and Orange for my taste test.

Pros:

Nice bottle design
Love the logo & design
Good dose of B vitamins
Good website

Cons:

Tastes terrible
Carbonation --- The only thing you really can taste!

Camping

So...I think everyone has words that get on their nerves. My biggest one right now is "camping". I am not talking about going into the woods for the weekend to camp. I am referring to it being used on XBOX Live in Call of Duty 4.

Wikipedia defines camping as being most common in first-person shooters when a player finds a dark corner or hole and hides in that location giving themselves a clear advantage over other players. The position is normally hidden from casual view and is used to ambush or carry out sniper-like attacks on other players. The position chosen is typically a high point that is not easily accessible so that the camper has the advantage of being out of the line of sight of other players and therefore has the time to take careful shots. In fast-paced games like Quake or Unreal Tournament, this is often regarded as an annoying and unsporting practice by players who don't camp.

To clarify, it annoys me when people accuse each other of camping or accuse me of camping (even if I really was camping)...I am annoyed with those who are camping or even when my own team mentions the fact that someone is camping. Um...I think I have a weirdo problem. Maybe I wouldn't get so annoyed if it was called something else...like hiding.

OK I am done now. Camp away...camp, camp, camp....camp.

Cylon's Paper Rhino

Well, I could not resist. I made the Rhino from the model below. It kinda looks bad because I rushed through it and should have used different paper. I had all the supplies on hand from the paper Halo 3 Assault Rifle I am making so I decided to take this on real quick. I thought it would only take 30 minutes (I think I am an expert at Pepakura, I guess). However, it ended up taking like 3.5 hours.

So, here is what it looks like in the game.

So, it was not ALL my fault. It was very very difficut to see the numbers so I basically just put it togther by trial and error...hope the rhino doesn't try to destroy my controller! Gotta watch those sours! Yep, I am a nerd.

Steppin' Razor Baby!!!

So, last night I was in the mood for some Lone Wolves in Halo 3. I was thinking that maybe I should try to get one of the 3 multiplayer achievements that I still had not gotten.

Well, my very first match ended up being a Swords game...I was a happy Cylon because I still did not have my Steppin' Razor achievement (triple kill with sword). So, about half way through the game I got a double kill but did not kill the third guy fast enough. I was disappointed because I suck at the sword and can hardly get one kill with it let alone a double.

Long story short...later that game...I did it!! Check out the video!

Too Much Time?

So, I saw this video on Bungie. I am most impressed with this kid's ability to make Halo 3 weapons out of cardboard. Some if this stuff is really detailed and after he paints them they look awesome!

I am very impressed and slightly scared when he meticulously copies the spartan motions. It kinda creeped me out when he was tea baggin' air too.

So, this kid must have a lot of free time or maybe he has nothing better to do and wants to keep busy. Regardless, I think his talents are being wasted. He has put some serious detail into some of these things and has created it all with cardboard and box tape. At least buy the poor kid some supplies so he can make them even better.

So, Supa and I went on a new "beginner" trail yesterday and we almost killed ourselves (several times each). I had a ton of fun but I made sure my cell phone had a signal because I thought I was gonna break something for sure. Here are a couple of videos of techniques we need to work on.
